dtewi, don't do it! Your attempt at making peace is actually strengthening the validity of the empty "nexgen" buzzword. The generations of gaming are strictly historical terms. "Nexgen" just got all big recently as a way to marginalize the Wii, since 2 of the 3 consoles had huger leaps in graphics than normal, and they're paying for it dearly.
Were XBox and GameCube fans saying they had true nexgen grafyx and the PS2 didn't? Were people saying the Nintendo 64 had true nexgen grafyx and the PS1 and Dreamcast didn't? This buzzword usually only comes out at launch, but this gen it's lasting too long in a weak attempt to marginalize the success of the Wii.
