I mean... I get what you are saying. But we have Animal Crossing this week, Trials of Mana in April, The Wonderful 101 in May... then we have DOOM Eternal, Xenoblade Chronicles, Deadly Premonition 2, No More Heroes III and Gods & Monsters scheduled for this year... and Bayonetta 3, Shin Megami Tensei V, Breath of the Wild 2 and Metroid Prime 4 with TBD release dates. Plus all the indies in the world, plus whathever Nintendo hasn't announced yet. So... I wouldn't come as far as to say that there is a huge drought. It could be better... but it's not like we don't have anything to play.

More than not having games... is the lack of information and the lack of confirmed release dates that is really bugging me. Nintendo should really have a big Nintendo Direct that puts their cards on the table.
