There is no reason to assume that Biden would maintain his past position on that particular issue. If we compare Biden's current platform (not his platform over twenty-five years ago) on these issues to Trump's, I would take Biden any day.

If Biden changed his positions 24 years ago, I would agree with you. But he had similar opinions 4 years ago. He didn't support politically harmful opinions that turned out to be right like Bernie did and does. That shows me that Biden won't do much better this time around. Remember Obama wanted to close Gitmo. My point is it's not just policies, it's policies and trustworthiness to do everything to get them passed. It's policy, trustworthiness and sincerity. Do you really support these things or are you saying them to get elected. I don't think Biden or trump beat Sanders in any of them and I think Biden certainly beats Trump in policy, I'm not sold on the other 2. Bernie can still win, so there's no point discussing Biden vs Trump anyways. Get bernie to win for now. Convince people to vote for him in whatever way you can.
