Actually they are, I don't have a PC, haven't had one for over 10 years, and I'm on the fence if I should go consoles or just build a PC next gen, I'd rather pay double and get a much better performing PC that can do a lot more than just games. The reason I jumped to consoles in 2006 was because I went to work abroad, but next year I will settle back home so Microsoft will need to convince me to buy the console instead of building the PC.
In fact building the PC will be free as I can sell my MacBook for 700 dollars and use that money. But a console cant replace my MacBook.
Buying the ps5 is a guarantee for me, because its guaranteed to have exclusives like Horizon 2, GT7, god of war and so on. But xbox wont have any exclusive, ever, it will be on PC.
I also miss a lot playing strategy and management games, I have wonderful memories of command and conquer and restaurant empire back in the day, you cant get those experiences on console either, that's one thing pushing me to build a PC.
My main concern was electricity, but new PC components are using less energy, and a computer monitor uses 8x less power than my projector.
As a big fan of xbox for many years, love Halo (the first 3) they can stick their 4teraflops where they know, I could build a much more powerful PC for 500.
And if many more xbox gamers have the same idea, then xbox will fail really hard. I've been saying this for a while but Microsoft big mistake was to put all exclusives on PC.
So yeah back to the topic, you said this wasn't for PC gamers, I say this is for people who game on console but will start thinking of moving on due to the lack of power on console.
