If the xbox series X is true, then it will surpass top gaming PCs of today, not just standard. Because games on consoles are optimized for the hardware, so they can always squeeze more from the hardware than on PCs.
In fact I was calculating how much would be to build a PC close to that power and its around 1000dollars (including the controller and 4K bluray).
I believe the series X and ps5 pro will cost 600-650dollars minimum, and the base ps5 and base xbox will be 450 dollars. There is no way it could ever be cheaper, unless both companies want to sell at a big loss, Sony cant do it, Microsoft could if they wanted it. Also nothing was said about the cooling, if they use the same cooling as the xbox X then price will go up 50 dollars.
Only people who dont really know tech or have never built a PC think it could be less.
