Dragons have arrived in Hearthstone Battlegrounds' biggest update yet
https://www.pcgamer.com/dragons-have-arrived-in-hearthstone-battlegrounds-biggest-update-yet/
Dragons have landed in Hearthstone Battlegrounds in today's big 16.4 update—seven of them, in fact, including Galakrond, Deathwing, Malygos, and even Reno Jackson, who was recently revealed to be the human aspect of dragon in a fairly bonkers twist. The new Dragon heroes will be joined by 18 new minions, 12 of them belonging to a new Dragon minion tribal type, and all but two of them brand-new to Hearthstone and exclusive to Battlegrounds.

Teamfight Tactics' next update promises to completely upend the meta with all-new character origins and some fun new rules. It's called Galaxies and is planned for release in mid-March, alongside TFT's mobile version. When it releases, TFT's roster of champions will transform into far-future versions of themselves while adopting whole new abilities and synergies based on their new origins as Star Guardians, Cybernetics, or Mech-Pilots.

https://www.pcgamer.com/wolcens-latest-patch-fixes-a-ton-of-bugs-including-one-that-players-actually-loved/
Wolcen's launch was a bit of a disaster, but the action RPG has been getting better with each weekly update. Today's 1.0.5 patch, for example, addresses an impressive number of bugs, broken skills, and glitches—but not everyone is super happy about it.

Sea of Thieves chain shot cannonballs will mess up your masts in March
https://www.pcgamer.com/sea-of-thieves-chain-shot-cannonballs-will-mess-up-your-masts-in-march/
The rumor of a new type of cannonball coming to Sea of Thieves has been percolating for a few days, and Rare confirmed the existence of the destructive "chain shot" projectile in a video today. It's essentially a cannonball cut down the middle with a chain connecting the two halves, and it's going to make a mess of your ship's masts when it arrives on March 11, along with a new Tall Tale.

Stardew Valley is getting another free content update
https://www.pcgamer.com/stardew-valley-is-getting-another-free-content-update/
A couple of weeks ago, Stardew Valley creator Eric Barone revealed that he's working on two new games, both connected in one way or another to his hit farm life sim. There was much rejoicing (people really like Stardew Valley), to the point that Barone asked everyone to please calm down and let him work.
But that was then and this is now, and I guess now it's time to get all hyped up again because it turns out that along with those other two projects, Barone is also cooking up new stuff for Stardew Valley.

Finally! American Truck Simulator is getting openable truck windows
https://www.pcgamer.com/finally-american-truck-simulator-is-getting-openable-truck-windows/
Notice anything interesting about the screenshot above? That's right: The window is open. It is a little more than halfway open, which is one of the many states a truck's window can be in. But that is not a real truck. That is a truck in American Truck Simulator, which will be getting openable windows in update 1.37.

A 25-year-old strategy game just got new DLC and a Steam release
https://www.pcgamer.com/a-25-year-old-strategy-game-just-got-new-dlc-and-a-steam-release/
The fantasy 4X strategy game Master of Magic was originally released in 1994, and after a rough start courtesy of some serious bug issues, did quite well for itself and is now regarded as one of the top 4X games of all time. It eventually found its way to GOG, where it's also been well received, and last summer the rights to the game were acquired by publisher Slitherine.
Slitherine didn't say what exactly it had in mind for the game, although developer director Ian McNeil told us at the time that we could expect something to happen in the near future. And now it has: More than a quarter-century after its release, Master of Magic has new DLC, Caster of Magic.

Slay ghosts and eat cookies in free RPG Grimm's Hollow
https://www.pcgamer.com/slay-ghosts-and-eat-cookies-in-free-rpg-grimms-hollow/
If you enjoy Undertale and the colour purple then you'll love Grimm's Hollow, a refreshingly short JRPG that puts you in the cowl of a recently hired grim reaper. I say 'hired', but really you've arrived in a sort of purgatory after dying on Earth, and been assigned the role of reaper seemingly at random. Meanwhile, your little brother has arrived here as a ghost—the same ghosts that reapers are tasked with dispatching to the after-afterlife. Eep.

https://www.pcgamer.com/pubg-has-been-dealing-with-an-increase-in-ddos-attacks-and-performance-issues/
The last few months have been a bit bumpy in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, as evidenced by the tone of the Steam forums and subreddit, which are full of frustrated posts about crashes, stuttering and cheating. Some of the issues started with Season 6, but others go back to last year.

Annapurna Interactive's next game is a gorgeous first-person love story puzzle
https://www.pcgamer.com/annapurna-interactives-next-game-is-a-gorgeous-first-person-love-story-puzzle/
The recursive puzzle game Maquette was first revealed at GDC in 2011, where it made quite a splash: According to Gamasutra, the presentation of scale-based puzzles in a world-within-a-world "drew numerous outbursts of applause from the audience." After that, though, it kind of fell off the radar—until today's announcement that publisher Annapurna Interactive has picked it up and will release it "soon."

Bungie plans to cap the power of Legendary weapons in Destiny 2
https://www.pcgamer.com/bungie-plans-to-cap-the-power-of-legendary-weapons-in-destiny-2/
Hot on the heels of last night's announcement that the Trials of Osiris mode will return next season, Destiny 2 director Luke Smith has published another mammoth 'Director's Cut' post outlining the studio's thinking about Destiny 2's future. That future includes some shifting thoughts about the seasonal model, and a major change to the way weapon progression works.

Bungie will disable Artifact Power for Destiny 2's Trials of Osiris following player outcry
https://www.pcgamer.com/bungie-will-disable-artifact-power-for-destiny-2s-trials-of-osiris-following-player-outcry/
The imminent return of Trials of Osiris was met with widespread enthusiasm, followed swiftly—as is the way in the Destiny 2 community—with furious outrage. The reason players were so upset was because, as part of this week's announcement, Bungie noted that power levels would be enabled. Essentially that means that a player of a higher level will deal more and take less damage when facing an opponent of lower level.

Explore a hole new world in free puzzle game Hole and Box
https://www.pcgamer.com/explore-a-hole-new-world-in-free-puzzle-game-hole-and-box/
If nothing else, you should play Hole and Box for its smooth jazz rendition of Greensleeves, which is chill and cheesy in the best possible way. But the game beside it is equally interesting, and pretty original for the now-established block-pushing puzzle genre.
