I too expect a decline for PS5 in Japan over PS4, but I'm not yet expecting as sharp of one as you guys are. PS4 will have very close sales to PS3 despite being a vastly more successful system worldwide, so I think a decline in Japan is inevitable if PS5 doesn't somehow blow PS4 out of the park, which I don't think it will. Globally, PS5 I think will do well, better than PS3, but not as good as PS4, especially if PS4 heads into 120+ million territory. If 120+ million doesn't translate into 10+ million in Japan, then dedicated home consoles are truly in a nasty, nasty decline there. The Sony brand is strong enough though, and the fanbase dedicated enough, and the 3rd party developers and publishers loyal enough, that I think 6 million is the minimum, not the maximum. I think barring PS5 truly taking off everywhere in a way we don't expect and becoming a DS or PS2 like phenomenon, we can expect PS5 to sell max 9 million in Japan.
