Hey anyone loves power and graphic, but when put in the context and priority . Power always be the last. of course this is for me, i bet it's different from one people to another.

1.Brand loyalty

2.Value

3.Price

4.Content

5.Power

I’d say that’s accurate for a good chunk. Personally I think being brand loyal makes the value aspect a little lower since we’d be buying anyway. I’d personally swap value with content.

There was this last gen

Kinda puzzling when XBox was deemed to have faster processing power while ps4 had better resolution?

That mostly shows that most consumers are clueless haha.

Better resolution shouldn't be a factor, 8K tv adoption is still zero, both can do native 4K (one would hope)
Blu-ray is dead.
Game library is still unknown yet both have BC this time from the start.
Exclusives are as always personal preference.

It really comes down to price and perceived value. MS needs to market game pass as much as they can, perhaps even add free game pass plus gold for 3 months when you buy the series X. Start with a huge game library of backwards compatible games for those coming back to xbox from ps4. Play all that you missed last gen in the best possible resolution while we have new stuff cooking. Of course, that could also bite them. Selling a heavily subsidized console while encouraging people not to buy any new games, big losses to eat. And Sony can of course match it with there own version of game pass.
