Part two of the news:

https://www.pcgamer.com/eve-online-shooter-cancelled-to-make-way-for-a-new-eve-online-shooter/
Project Nova, the in-development FPS spin-off to EVE Online, is officially dead according to CCP Games. The news was originally announced during a Pearl Abyss (CCP Games' parent company) earnings call over the weekend, but since then developers have taken to a few different forums to confirm the news and elaborate on what's happening.

End-of-the-world adventure Beautiful Desolation comes out later this month
https://www.pcgamer.com/end-of-the-world-adventure-beautiful-desolation-comes-out-later-this-month/
Beautiful Desolation was announced all the way back in 2016 as the followup, but not sequel, to the excellent 2015 point-and-click horror adventure Stasis. A successful Kickstarter campaign followed in early 2017, and this week South African developer The Brotherhood announced that it will finally be released on February 26.

Rainbow Six Siege will get secondary gadgets that let attackers carry a little Thatcher or Thermite in their pocket
https://www.pcgamer.com/rainbow-six-siege-will-get-secondary-gadgets-that-let-attackers-carry-a-little-thatcher-or-thermite-in-their-pocket/
Ubisoft wants to crack Rainbow Six Siege’s attacking meta wide open. Currently, team composition feels hamstrung by the importance of hard breachers and electronic disabling operators like Thermite, Hibana, and Thatcher. On certain objective locations, attackers are at a huge disadvantage if they can't pop open a key reinforced wall. To add more variety to the meta, Ubisoft plans to distribute these roles to more operators via new secondary gadgets.

https://www.pcgamer.com/adventure-game-norco-is-a-pixel-art-lovers-dream/
With Kentucky Route Zero finally released in full, another long-awaited adventure through American decay has caught my eye: Norco: Faraway Lights, a point-and-click mystery that takes place in a pixel art rendition of Louisiana's swamps, suburbs, and oil refineries—with robots.

What if Bejewelled were a platform game? What if Dig Dug were more Columns-y? The answer to both these questions is Blocked Up, a match-3 game where you also control a little man, a man who'll be crushed if the top of a screen, or a falling block, lands on his head.

Blackbird Interactive, developer of Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak, have announced a new game. It's called Hardspace: Shipbreaker, and you play as a Cutter: a blue-collar worker at a space station orbiting earth where you slice up derelict spaceships into spare parts. It's planned for a Steam Early Access launch this summer, and you can check out the announcement trailer above.

No Man's Sky update adds freaky living spaceships you can hatch from eggs
https://www.pcgamer.com/no-mans-sky-living-ships-update/
Hello Games is on the brink of releasing yet another free update to space sandbox No Man's Sky, and this one is already looking like the weirdest update yet. It's called the Living Ship update, and will introduce new biological ships to No Man's Sky. They certainly look alive in the trailer above, and in an even more interesting twist, players will not only be able to fly these organic ships but actually hatch them from eggs and grow them to adulthood.

https://www.pcgamer.com/platinumgames-teases-a-big-announcement-for-february-27/
PlatinumGames is getting ready to make another "major announcement" this month, following the launch of its now successful Kickstarter for ports of The Wonderful 101. Teased in this week's issue of Famitsu, the announcement itself will take place within the magazine's pages on February 27.

They had another article, the newest of all, but it's been pulled out for some reason. Here it is:

Mount & Blade 2 launches in early access on March 31
https://www.pcgamer.com/mount-and-blade-2-launches-in-early-access-on-march-31/
Do you hear that coming over the hill? It sounds like a hundred galloping hooves and the war cries of bloodthirsty soldiers. That can only mean one thing: you'll be able to dive into the medieval world of Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord soon. On March 31, 2020 to be precise.
