I don't want to sell Saturn short as it had many great RPGs as well but PS1 had some of the best ever made and many of them have OSTs that in my mind still stand amongst the best tracks in gaming. RPGs of this era often have an overworld. Since you spend so much time there they had to make something pleasing to listen to all that time. So post your faves. These are my top 3 in order.
Maybe the graphics in some of the games from the era have aged poorly but I'll be damned if the 16 and 32-bit era were not the best ever for this genre.
