Both would be part of the 970 EVO line of products, just one is an upgrade with better performance and more storage, at a higher price.
Xbox One X is an Xbox One product, just an upgrade with better performance at a higher price.

I agree they are all Xbox One products. I just don't see the X1, X1S, X1X and X1SAD as the SAME product.
I don't wanna drag this on but different models also offer different features. Like 4K Bluray support to no disc support at all.

An other analogy would be that of cars. You want a Corolla, but then you get to choose which options you want and pay a premium to have them. No matter what, it is a still a Corolla.
In any case, the end result makes it so not all Corolla are equal.
