I got a ps3 slim last year for 50 dollars, then I hacked it, easiest console to hack, no tools required. Even then with all games free I cant play it, controller is horrendous, the worse is the graphics, bland colours, jaggies everywhere, and nostalgia trick us too much, games are not as good as we remember, I remember loving infamous 2, so I played that one first, wow the graphics are unplayable, not to mention the low fps and horrendous voice acting.
Then I tried GT6 which was my favourite car game of all time, its nowhere near what I remembered, after playing GT and forza 7 in 4K HDR, it was beyond horrendous.
I sold the console and never want to hear of ps3 or 360 ever again, at least I can play 360 games with improved graphics and performance on the xbox X, I played recently the Darkness and it looked amazing, almost current gen.
PS4 games are so cheap these days and there's so many that I cant see any reason for anyone to go back to ps3. Specially with the upcoming PS5 and with so many games coming currently.
Lets put it this way, if someone offered me a ps3, for free, with all games free I still wouldn't want it, time is too precious and there's far too many games I could be playing.
