Someone underestimating Halo.. not a wise decision.

Nothing againts it, but cross-gen is absolutely a disadvantage here.

Didn’t seem to be for Zelda BOTW. Like Xbox One, people were kinda ready to dump the WiiU when the next gen hit. Personally all the core Xbox fans are waiting to leave this gen behind and start fresh, just like Nintendo did.

But MS won’t screw over late adopters either, those who aren’t ready to make the early transition. Halo is better when it’s available to more people. Even the Pc version won’t really affect console sales because they buyers are PC gamers with no want to buy an Xbox. If Halo Reach sold 2 million week 1 on PC as a ten year old game, I wonder what Infinite can do.

Nevermind the marketing campaign has yet to kick in. This is a launch flagship title. It will have its own themed console. You have choice, but the marketing will make sure you want to play it on the next gen Xbox. This is a 5 year made title on a new game engine that makes development easier...this ain’t Halo 5.2

Unless you talking about XB1 limiting the potential of the Series X version. In which case I don’t think it affects the quality of the game. Series X will still be the best version and more convenient for gamers who have yet to get a expensive gaming PC.

Finally, I’ll say that when Sony inevitably brings Last of Us2 to PS5, because why not, I seriously doubt gamers will care that it’s hindered by its PS4 counterpart. Same goes for GTA5...gamers REALLY didn’t care it was hindered by its last gen versions lol.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
