Nice, while I was looking into it for you I boosted my own ram from the 1333mhz to 1600mhz by enabling profile also. Come on DDR3! You can last another 2 years till DDR5 hits the market! Finally overclocked my i5-4670k to 4.3ghz and upgrading my RX470 to a GTX 1070 TI, that'll hold me over for a while. My CPU has done an admirable job lasting this long and I'm hoping it'll still manage 60fps in games for a while yet until I upgrade to Ryzen. And yeah... I'm wary of getting a motherboard with a fan too. I'm kind of obsessed with having a quiet PC. |
And not just for quietness, but also because a new fan is another component that can fail, and what happens when that fan fails?
