You are confusing SSD with SD Card. Also, the drop happened before 2017, you could buy a 64Gb SD Card for about 10 buck in 2017. The recent "crash" is for higher capacities

But what's funny is "a 16Gb cartridge costs the same as a 25Gb bluray" without any source "tiz iz tru becoz y sayd soh". I can buy a 25Gb bluray for about 1$, good luck with your flash memory at that price.
