I agree that learning too much about a game before release can certainly impact my experience, but it also depends on the game. For example, I would want to know as little as possible going into a Soulsborne game, or a Zelda game (although it might be hard to resist the urge to check promo material).

There are some things about AC:NH I'm wanting to know. I'd really like to know the scope of the game. Like how many total furniture items there are, or maybe how many themes/sets are in the game. How big is the "town"? I want to learn more about the crafting system, and if there is any sort of character progression in terms of leveling up your tools/skills.

I read that there is "one island per Switch", and that you will share the island with everyone who uses the same Switch. I'm looking forward to playing this with my daughter. She has her own Switch Lite, but I'm not sure if we will be able to utilize it. We are thinking that we want to share the same island, but I'm guessing the only way to do that would be if we used the same Switch.

It would be really cool if we could share the same island and use both Switches to play at the same time, but that seems more like wishful thinking.
