What I also pointed out in my first response to you is that Miyamoto was laughing in the interview about Nintendo telling him to not talk about Pikmin 4 anymore. But like I said in my second response, Nintendo isn't going to publicly scold one of their employees when they do something that they were told not to do. Dragging that out in the open would make Nintendo look like a circus, so the way they've actually handled the situation is looking less bad for Nintendo than the alternative. The way they've handled it, there are a bunch of angry fans on forums that mention Pikmin 4 every now and then; a public statement that Miyamoto is lying to people and deceiving them would have made the gaming news and become a huge topic. |

Yes Nintendo's trying to cover for his lie, that's exactly the problem. Instead of owning up to their mistakes and taking the consequences (which would have no tangible effect, see Pokemon), they're cowardly trying to brush it under the rug, hoping people wont notice.
