I think this site's demographic is a little too young for Northern Exposure at the time of its original airing and to my knowledge it has never been big in syndication. Therefore, most people here would not have been exposed to it. It isn't my cup of tea, the only character I liked was the borderline retarded native. Fleisher was uninteresting, at least to the child I was. No offence to you who like it, Okr EDIT: though your list reminded me of M*A*S*H*, which I love through the magic of syndication.
