You'd be dreaming if you literally think game performance will increase threefold. Even if something like this rumor makes it to a PR slide, Nvidia is no newcomer to that sort of hyperbolic claim:
But it's obvious at the same time Nvidia will have, at the very least, 50% better performance per watt than AMD has achieved on the new node with RDNA, since they just about merely matched Turing with the shrink to 7 nm. You certainly won't need a 250W GPU to more than overperform the next generation consoles.
