Here’s a unique and wonderful indie project for you: Meditations. Most every day for the coming year the Meditations launcher will give you a small, cute game by various indie developers—from the relatively famous to the totally unknown. Each game generally features no text and takes about five minutes to play, a simple format that should produce some weird-to-quixotic art games and small puzzles. On the first day of each month, the Meditations launcher downloads that month’s games in a big bundle, then doles them out to you each day after. Each game is only available on the day it was made for, so if you miss a game or love it you have to wait until next year to play it. Valve has just announced Steam’s 2019 PC Games Award winners. Steam’s community has voted in order to determine the winners for each category, and the best Steam game of 2019 was Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

Tahril has released an interesting new mod for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. As its title suggests, the “Character faces improved” mod aims to overhaul the game’s character faces. The modder has edited the textures so he can improve the depth and add more details to them.
Now what’s really interesting here is that the modder was able to retain the game’s aesthetics. As such, all of the modded character faces look similar to the original ones. In fact, it’s a bit hard to distinguish the visual differences while playing the game.

New gameplay trailer released for the upcoming fan remake of Dino Crisis in Unreal Engine 4

team Arklay ‘s has released a brand new gameplay trailer for its upcoming fan remake of Dino Crisis in Unreal Engine 4. This new gameplay trailer showcases Regina, some of the game’s environments, as well as some new dinosaurs.
Going into more details, the trailer shows off the Raptors, as well as compies (aka Procompsognathus) and Pterodactyls. Oh, and there are also some scenes with the all might Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Skyrim Grandma's NPC follower mod will be out in early 2020

It was announced last year that Shirley Curry, better known by as the 80-year-old 'Skyrim Grandma' from her YouTube channel, was being made into an NPC follower mod in Skyrim. You'll get to hang out with Shirley sooner than you think because it's been revealed by one of the developers that the mod will be ready sometime early this year. One of the developers, phantom_scribbler on Reddit, has released a short teaser trailer and progress update about the development of the mod. Curry's NPC will be just like other follower mods and come with her own quests, interactions, observations and, of course, is voiced by Curry herself. She's going to be a classic barbarian with light armour using two-handed weapons and archery for ranged attacks—perfect for a granny who likes to brawl.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and WWE 2K20 are not launching due to a “2020” bug [UPDATE]

Now here is something truly hilarious. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and WWE 2K20 are currently not launching at all for all PC gamers. According to numerous reports, PC gamers are crashing to desktop while trying running these two games. From the looks of it, this is mainly caused by the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. However, there is a workaround for this issue.
UPDATE: After further investigation, it appears that this issue is NOT related to Denuvo. After all, WWE 2K20 uses Steamworks instead of Denuvo. Both EA and 2K Games have not commented yet on this issue.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake leaked demo features PC code, references to AMD, NVIDIA and higher resolutions

A demo for Final Fantasy 7 Remake has been leaked on PSN and according to some dataminers, its code further hints towards a PC release. According to reports, the leaked demo mentions both AMD and NVIDIA in its code.

For the first time in 12 years, voice actor Mike Shapiro has taken on the voice of the G-Man in yet another teaser ahead of the release of Half-Life: Alyx. Shapiro posted a short video on Twitter with a monologue as the character, complete with stilted tone, odd speech pattern, and all the other mannerisms that haunted the Half-Life series over the years.

It forces you to consider how long it takes to build a highway through the mountains, or whether a new rail network is going to work for increased traffic in the future.
