That's a bit worrying. I really didn't like the direction FF took with 10, and then took further with 13. I skipped 13 because everyone was saying it was just 10, but more handholdy. I have FF15, but haven't played it yet. I've accepted that FF is no longer a turn based series, or really a traditional JRPG. But those PS2-PS3 years were just an awkward transition IMO. FF 11, 12, and 14 are offshoots of the main series as far as I'm concerned.
