Now ask yourself this, if you have a Switch and just got a ps5, will you be spending your money on Switch games or would you be buying games for your brand new console that'll make Switch games look like 3DS games in comparison? Also, will people still be so interested to complement their ps4 with a Switch if they can also get a ps5? Obviously, graphics aren't everything and Nintendo does have its hardcore fans who just want to play the latest Mario and Zelda games. But with the Switch it seems their audience overlaps with the ps4/360 audience who are also into "core" games. That's why Nintendo better bring it in 2020 because a lot of Switches will be collecting dust when something like GTA6 comes out and the appeal of having a powerful handheld that can do most "modern" games disappears. |
Seriously? Late adopters of one console are likely to be late adopters of another. We already know many people who bought the switch were early adopters of ps4/x1 so it makes sense that at least a good chunk of late adopters also get the switch in 2020-2022 when it's available for cheaper.
