As pointed out N3DS variant is the only available model of 3DS so ofcourse it'll be the model of choice this goes against the point he's trying to make on having multiple models on the market also show us how well having a X1X model has impacted its position in the market with the competition go on
Right now those people you and him are on about barely make any difference to the outcome of the market in the long run which is the whole point.
