Sorry but how is it hard to see someone putting in those hours if they enjoy the game? I've seen people put in those kind of hours in games like Monster Hunter and PSO.

i know how frontal lobe destroying half of that time is in a game that is less monotonous so double that time feels really strange to me, especially in a game like Rocket league that has very samey content. Monster hunter at least has an hamster wheel that is near endless with RNG to boot same with MMO's like PSO plus they have the whole social aspect. Games like Rocket league at that dosage seem mind melting.

Online games are always unpredictable thus stay fun. I've poured nearly 2700 hours of driving time in GT Sport in 740 days. That's about the same pace, 3.5 hours a day, about 14 online races a day on average. Seems a lot, and it is, but I do everything that needs doing in the down time while the game counts down to the next race. 3 races an hour, 11 minute race, 9 minute wait. 2 tvs in the living room, one dedicated to gt sport. I play with the sound really low, no voice chat, just race while watching tv. Some people can't stop touching their phone, I'm racing instead.

Time to boot up the game, off to Bathurst while working out in between the races.
