It's good that you read my posts, I did indeed get off track for a few days because of that dude on beyond3d, but now I'm back on track. We have gone from 10TF+ for both console to 12TF+. We now have Eurogamer, Windowscentral, Tom Warren and the verified insider all saying Xbox series X is indeed 12TF, that is Navi TF. PS5 will be stronger but I'm expecting Microsoft is just waiting for Sony to reveal their numbers then Microsoft will up the clock-speed to beat PS5.
Geforce 2080 is 20% faster than vanilla 5700xt, and that is a 9.6TF card so 12TF is enough. Jensen says a lot of things, he has apparently been saying the same thing now for 2+ years.

Actually, the 3000 series will debut next year and you have no idea if either console will be above a 2080 (I'm betting they, perhaps, match it, but they'll most likely contain console variants of the 2070, which will be a considerable upgrade over the 1060 equivalent that is the Xbox One X's GPU). But, we've discussed this type of thing already. Not sure why you keep doing this to yourself. :P |
You should read twitter, no 3000 series next year, only a proffessional card on tsmc 7nm euv and geforce 2080 ti super to counter Navi 21. Where the console will land next year we shall see, I think they both will beat geforce 2080.
