The Packers got another lame win where a brief good period after halftime allowed them to pull away by 18 points. They failed horribly in closing out the game in a respectable manner. An interception that put them just within field goal range was turned into a three and out with a sack that forced a punt. The next possession was similarly ineffective, so the Bears got more chances to tie the game than they should have.
If the "let's just do enough" mentality continues, we'll either see the Packers play up to the Vikings in Minnesota or get blown out because they can't get any real rhythm into their offensive efforts. Either way, the situation is that the Packers can win the NFC North with a loss in week 16 and a win in week 17, so they can afford to drop the game against the Vikings. |
You put faith in a broken Steelers team again? Either you base your votes solely on the team's record for that week, or you're a closet Steelers fan.
On another note, I'll be rooting for both the Patriots and Bills in the playoffs. My Browns have issues. Kitchens needs to go. If only he invested in actually coaching this team as much as he invests in his daily carb intake; the Browns could have made good with its loaded offense roster. What a fucking shame... Chubb, Landry, Hunt, Beckem. Any other team with those players would be super bowl contenders... even the Bengals.

No you are wrong. I'm from Ohio and they will never go to Superbowl again because they suck. Bengals suck. Browns suck. Always have always will. When was last time Ohio team went to Superbowl? When Boomer lost to Montana. I think the Browns won their division or conference championship back in 1950s...
