You're a beautiful human being for creating this. I have a non thread worthy question. So, my day 1 switch has developed a strange quirk. When I turn it on, sometimes the fan blows at 100%. For no real reason. I'll shut it off, and it wont do it again mostly.... but it will sometimes. Occasionally during gameplay too. So, I did the first thing I knew in could handle, repaste it with new thermal compound. I did it last night. It hasnt done it since but I havent really had much time on it. Do you think theres a temp sensor or something that went bad, or has a bad connection? I'm not convinced it was the paste, although it's hard to tell how well it was applied... didnt look like it was bad... but I've not seen many things like this. I dont want to have to send it in... being out of warranty and such.
