Part two of the Monday news:

Grimes will front an in-game band in Cyberpunk 2077
https://www.pcgamer.com/grimes-will-front-an-in-game-band-in-cyberpunk-2077/
It goes without saying that you can't have a good cyberpunk experience without some good cyberpunk music backing it up. Syndicate would just not be the same without Skrillex, right? (And for the record, I believe completely unironically that Syndicate is a far better game than it's generally given credit for, and has an excellent soundtrack.) To that end, CD Projekt has dropped a teaser showcasing some of the musical talents contributing tunes to its upcoming cyber-RPG Cyberpunk 2077.

In the wake of that success, Obsidian announced today that the adventure will continue. "We want to take this opportunity to thank the incredible team behind The Outer Worlds. It is because of their hard work and dedication to this project that we received the Best Narrative, Best Performance - Ashly Burch, Best RPG, and Game of the Year nominations at The Game Awards," Obsidian social media manager Shyla wrote.

https://www.pcgamer.com/telltales-batman-is-apparently-getting-dlc-and-a-rerelease/
As Gematsu reports, a press release announcing a "noir-style visual makeover and graphical upgrade" for Batman: The Telltale Series alongside a rerelease called the Shadows Edition was quietly posted on the website of Athlon Games and then removed. Presumably a gun was jumped on an announcement that one of the rights-holders involved wasn't ready for just yet.

Remember Receiver, the indie shooter from 2013 that models every step of reloading your gun with a separate keypress for each action? It's getting a sequel, Receiver 2, which will be out early next year.

There are "seven or eight" Dungeons & Dragons videogames in the works
https://www.pcgamer.com/there-are-seven-or-eight-dungeons-and-dragons-videogames-in-the-works/
Dungeons & Dragons may be enjoying a cultural relevance it hasn't seen since the 1980s, but while its fifth edition has flourished it hasn't been well represented in videogames. (...)
The announcements of new Baldur's Gate and Dark Alliance games suggest a change, and that's backed up by Wizards of the Coast. In an interview with Gamesindustry.biz, Wizards of the Coast president Chris Cocks explained that this is only the beginning and there are "seven or eight" videogames based on D&D coming out in the next few years.

Surgeon Simulator is getting a sequel
https://www.pcgamer.com/surgeon-simulator-is-getting-a-sequel/
The sequel will be out next year, but though the trailer shows a bunch of Napoleon Dynamite-looking surgeons getting up to mischief it doesn't give away much about the actual game. According to the website there will be co-op and it sure does seem like it'll support four players.

Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition, which collects almost everything Capcom has released so far, including hundreds of costumes and around 40 characters, is also adding some returning fighters to the roster. Street Fighter 3's Gill was revealed when the new edition was announced, and at the Capcom Cup another old boss was unveiled: Street Fighter 4's Seth.

PlayerUnknown's Prologue isn't a sequel or a shooter
https://www.pcgamer.com/playerunknowns-prologue-isnt-a-sequel-or-a-shooter/
Prologue, the new game from PUBG Corp and Brendan 'PlayerUnknown' Greene, is only 30 seconds of damp, slightly ominous forest at the moment. The brief teaser was shown off at The Game Awards, and for more details we're going to have to wait. Greene has confirmed, however, that it's not PUBG 2, and it's not even a shooter.
