It isn't a matter of 'let', though. Once the hardware is crafted, it's done. Now, they could always pull an X1X later, but at this point, very little change will happen in regards to specs.

The most we can expect is a possible clock increase for CPU/GPU/Ram pending thermal and power headroom... It's happened with consoles in the past via a firmware update.
