Now that we have the system, are they gonna enhance the controller? I LOVE the Xbox One controller but I always look forward to improvements. In the past, when I get a new system, sometimes I would just sit there with the controller in my hand and say "Wow, this is nice."

From what Phil Spencer said it seems changes are minimal. DPAD has been changed to be like the Elite Controller's and there's a share button. Other then that there doesn't appear to be any substantial changes.

Don't change what ain't broke. Other than adding paddles on the back I don't see a need for gamepads to change in any big way.

Makes sense. I'm of two minds about batteries, though. On one hand, I have been using the same 4 rechargeable batteries for years with no issue but it does feel a little primitive. I wouldn't mind if they weren't the PS3/PS4 route with a lithium battery. At the same time, I want it easily replaceable in case something goes wrong BUT I don't want it to be some proprietary battery that will stop being produced the second they stop supporting the console.

Eh. They'll figure it out.
