I have not used Oculus Go.  Maybe I'll pick one up at some point.  But, do you know if Quest is also good with video?  If so, I might rather go that route. 

The Oculus Go is close to a Samsung Gear/ Cardbox experience. Quest is some levels above that with better tracking and resolution. Optional you can use a link cabbe to connect it to the PC and play PC VR games with it. The link cable is USB 3, so the result is a conpromised picture quality. Yet, still the best / cheapest option to experience good wireless and PC VR.
