When I was a cop, we had this vr driving simulator that gave me a similar experience. I think it was because of the low frame rate or something. Even after we got out, it was hard to even walk.
Today's VR is much much better. Especially 4K+ VR videos but games are great, too. If you haven't tried them, I say give it a shot. If you have and you don't like it, I understand.
