eh, I'd say laptops are actually worse for browsing the internet, assuming it's one of those crappy ones with no mouse at least. Now an actual PC, that's where you should be browsing the internet. It's been the best place to do since the internet first began and will continue to be the best place until the internet no longer exists.

I've become extremely competent with trackpads over the years and adjusting the sensitivity can make for absolute smooth and speedy use. I had like two years or so to adjust but I'm pretty much as proficient now as with mouse. What gets me is the right and left click buttons as they never have felt natural and the lack of a scroll mouse but the two tap scrolling I found out about just recently makes up for it and chrome OS has double tap funtions now with no need to use the physical buttons/

I've used a track pad for many years since my table didn't work very well for the standard infrared mouse. It works and yep the buttons are awkward. I had to turn the tap on pad stuff off since it was too sensitive and had me clicking on stuff all the time when simply putting my finger back on the pad. Also the position is not as nice as with a mouse. Track pads usually sit on the middle. I used the trackpad so much on my old laptop I wore out a hole in the top layer, protective coating. So I got a laser mouse in a garage sale for a dollar and have been using that since. It works so much better and more comfortable!
