OTBWY was defending Maduro. But thats neither here or there. All I ever said is that she is very likely to be better than Maduro(whcih isnt hard, mind you), simply because she is 1 week in in her new job, leading a country thats beyond broke. Me and Donferrari are no extremists, and probably neither are you guys.It just baffles me that, because we are "celebrating" the fall of a dictator basically by the peoples demand(again, the people wanted him out, the military just gave him an ultimatum. And lets be honest, given the fraudulent election, he would never have left the power otherwise). And just out of the curiosity:What would you call what Maduro did rigging the elections?Democracy? |
I wasn't defending Maduro, no matter who gets ousted or whatnot, leaders still can be incompetent. However, that doesn't take away that Guaido and all the other coup attempts come out of the US's playbook. Just like Bolivia. Like a bad script.
It's all about these countries' resources. Keeping the natives down, keeping the wealth in the hands of a few rich white upper class families and making sure that the US is served.
If you want to misrepresent me, that is fine. But at least my foreign policy isn't aligned with right wing neocons in the US. Or types like Fatslob. And with that Player2 is right. We have come to a point where, one hates socialism so much, that he/she approves of religious theocratic regimes established through violent military coups.
