China is one of the more progressive states when it comes to their methods of scientific experimentation. China is well positioned to eventually win the AI technology race because their nation has nearly no restrictions when it comes to data collection compared to many of the western liberal democracies out there which limits the development of AI technology in the long-term. The scale of their market means that they are big enough to subsidize the capitally intensive technology like trail transport and telecommunications technology ...
Eventually all these things together will give China a distorting advantage in the future when it comes to biotechnology ...
If the western world or the "free world" as some people would have it keeps denying themselves the opportunity at every turn to advance humanity altogether then why should they deserve to keep being at the forefront of advanced civilization ? Have you ever considered the thought that it might be the western liberal democracies who are the barbaric nations instead of China who has a real possibility of technologically obsoleting us ?
