Though I disagree, I definitely see your point. The thing is though, I want escapism just like you but I like realistic styles because I want to be immersed in a world I can believe in. I have played games with more surreal styles and the past and enjoyed some of them, but I guess my point is that different people have different types of fantasies in mind when looking for escapism.
