WiiU lacked a true system seller than most Nintendo systems had. It had some great games, but no real megaton to speak of. It did get Breath of the Wild, but at that point attention had shifted to the other device the game launched on.
N64 on the other hand had Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, Banjo, Jet Force Gemini, Mario 64, kicked off Smash, and Mario Party was a massive hit out of the gate. Not to mention while it lacked in 3rd party support, it did get quite a bit in the way of quality 3rd party exclusives.
N64 wins this easily in my book.
