I have enjoyed games that I've seen described as Walking Simulators, such as Amnesia (especially A Machine for Pigs) and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, but that's because they had puzzles and other stuff to do in-between the walking. But if we're talking "pure" Walking Simulators like Dear Esther then that's a big No from me. I don't mind games that are heavily story-driven but when it's all just an exhibition where you don't get to do anything but walk and occasionally stop to read/listen to some text then I lose interest quite fast.
