It's been said that the game will not require Origin in order to run the game, which means those buying it on Steam also launch and run it from there. This also means that there's very little of Origin showing up by making this move.

Had they run this like the way Ubisoft does, then they would get some more traffic going through Origin, getting Steam users to view their store at the same time as Steam's.



Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
