Normally yes, but at the moment it seems that anyone and everyone can pop in and say "we are streaming now, and charge $10-15"

They either last or decide to shut down. No one is ever lowering their prices, which is what competition is supposed to do. 

Yep. Basically all this good competition just fractured what was on Netflix for a single 15-20 sub for 10 subs of 10-15. Not a great gain for customers.

And similar stuff happened to crunchyroll that was also a single stop for anime, but all this other non-specialized stream decided to have some anime on them and gone hunting some licenses and crunchy lost them.
