https://www.pcgamer.com/wwe-2k20-devs-will-try-to-patch-its-ridiculous-flaws-within-two-weeks/
WWE 2K20 is ridiculous. From wrestlers with no faces to players getting stuck inside ring ropes, every bout is plagued by a new, silly, potentially game-ruining bug. Publisher 2K knows it: in a tweet last night, the game's official Twitter account said it was "listening closely to the feedback" and was preparing an initial patch to release within two weeks.

https://www.pcgamer.com/apex-legends-big-charge-rifle-nerf-is-now-live/
The nerf Respawn promised for Apex Legends' powerful Charge Rifle is now live, slowing the weapon's fire rate and dampening its long-distance firepower. It follows a smaller tweak last week, which reduced its magazine capacity by one shot.

https://www.pcgamer.com/more-diablo-4-information-leaked-via-art-book/
The Art of Diablo coffee-table book, due out on November 3—the day after Blizzcon—has already been responsible for leaking the existence of Diablo 4 after an ad for it in German magazine Game Star described it containing artwork from "Diablo 1, Diablo 2, Diablo 3, and Diablo 4." Now it seems to have been responsible for another leak, as Twitter user @WeakAuras has posted a seemingly legit page from the book.

Now it's your chance to go hands-on: developer Phobia Game Studio has released a half-hour demo that you can grab on Steam. The demo will only linger until November 2, so act fast.

https://www.pcgamer.com/destiny-2s-new-pvp-mode-adds-super-charged-supers-and-makes-every-weapon-lethal/
Destiny 2's new Momentum Control PvP mode, which launches on Tuesday, will add instant respawns, increase all weapon damage and supercharge your supers, turning you into a "1,000-pound gorilla". Not literally, obviously, although that would really shake up the meta.

https://www.pcgamer.com/sinking-simulator-the-relaxing-game-about-wreaking-needless-destruction-on-ships-is-now-on-steam/
I don't know who else needs to hear this, but there's a game on Steam all about destroying giant ships. It's called Sinking Simulator, and it's actually the second iteration of the game – an earlier version hit Greenlight several years ago and Tyler even briefly wrote about it. That said, this appears to be the first time Sinking Simulator has been playable on Steam, though it's been on Gamejolt and indieDB for a while.

Bethesda working on hotfixes for broken Fallout 76 subscription features
https://www.pcgamer.com/bethesda-working-on-hotfixes-for-broken-fallout-76-subscription-features/
Fallout 76's new subscription service, Fallout 1st, hasn't been received well for the most part. The pricey $12 per month ($100 per year) subscription offers, among other things, an unlimited scrap storage box and private servers. But in addition to widespread complaints about the service in general, some subscribers have been reporting technical problems as well. Namely, that the private servers aren't exactly private and that their scrap supplies have been disappearing from their shiny new premium boxes.
In a statement sent to Polygon, Bethesda says it's addressing both issues. Currently, private servers are joinable by anyone on the friends list of the server owner, even if they haven't been invited. As you can imagine, this is a big issue: anyone who has played Fallout 76 has no doubt added players (perhaps many of them) to their friends list who aren't really friends but just strangers they may have played with briefly. Starting your private game and being joined by a bunch of randoms you don't really even know isn't exactly the definition of private.
>> What were they expecting, that it would work? C'mon, it's Bethesda and Fallout 76! That there would be big problems was all but guaranteed.

Class warfare has come to Fallout 76
https://www.pcgamer.com/class-warfare-has-come-to-fallout-76/
Like the vaults themselves, Fallout 76 has become a curious social experiment. Since launch, the initially egalitarian West Virginian wasteland has slowly been splitting its community with microtransactions and premium conveniences, which reached their zenith last week with the launch of Fallout 1st, a premium membership subscription. Now some players seem to be gearing up for a class war.

https://www.pcgamer.com/eve-online-invasion-chapter-2-is-coming-in-november/
