With the release of the 1st DLC rumored to hit early next year,at the latest.I doubt many will care by then.I don't think Microsoft predicted the game to be lackluster in the eyes of gamers,or even realise it is. ^^Discuss. |
Microsoft didnt pay 50 mill for the downloadable content.
When Rockstar was going trough a rough spot financially MS LEND them 50 mil free of interest on the condition that GTAIV would release simultaneously on both machines and MS would get at least 2 exclusive downloadable episodes. The first 50 Million to be generated(plus costs) with the DLC will immediatly go to MS with any money above that dealt with in the regular Live licensing fashion. If the content fails to generate enough money to pay MS back the 50 mill they were lend Rockstar will have to pay back in full.
MS Made a pretty sound deal there.
