Depends on what you mean as "proper."  Obviously story is part of the experience, but it should be balanced.  The one review stated the game was 60% talking and 40% gameplay.  That isn't the balance I am looking for.  

Honestly, I highly doubt Obsidian would make a game that forces you to talk 60% of your gameplay time, but I get the gist of it...and (as old school cRPG gamer and recently returning from 30 year hiatus pen & paper RPG gamer) I say - Great.

Because way too often modern RPGs (and Pseudo RPGs) heavily favour 2 pillars (combat and exploration) over the 3rd one (social interaction) and seeing game that isn't shy to go more heavy on it (like many cRPGs of the past) is right up my alley.
