That’s not true. Not for a full week, at least. From my memory, it’s only been for the games that ultimately ended up with excellent reviews. I think the Days Gone review embargo was 1-2d prior to release, iirc. I don’t recall even Spider-Man having its embargo a full week prior, tho I could be wrong about that. God of War did it.

So the point is just that this suggests the reviews will end up positive. And that’s exciting, bc there are many people who have been skeptical, myself included.

Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, Detroit, Spiderman, Days Gone to name a few.

Where are you getting this from? You’re wrong about every single one of those games except for God of War—which I already said was a full week.

Days Gone:  The day before release, which is what I said thought i recalled. https://www.express.co.uk/entertainment/gaming/1113530/Days-Gone-review-embargo-PS4-PlayStation/amp

Detroit:  Day before release. https://www.gamepur.com/news/29015-detroit-become-human-review-embargo-timing-revealed.html

Spider-Man:  3d before release.  https://www.gamespot.com/articles/heres-when-spider-man-ps4-reviews-are-coming/1100-6461414/

Even Uncharted 4, which they knew would review well, only had its review embargo 5d prior to release. https://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2016/05/04/uncharted-4-review-embargo-lifts-tomorrow-may-5/amp/
