Don't worry, I don't expect you to actually know what "high quality" is. The word was that the PS4 will use something that's faster than a regular consumer SSD. You will only get that with a small cache or something that's actually high quality.

So we'll end up at the 3rd option I haven't considered yet. A dirt cheap SSD that only looks good in comparison to an old console with an HDD. I mean they are already advertising it as if it's a brand new revolution. Because for their audience even the cheapest and slowest SSD will be.

That would be called a lie since Cerny was very direct on the SSD they are using on PS5 being faster than "anything on the market", not HDD.
