You know, not being fucking owned by the gov. One company did a really shitty thing, is trying to get away with said shitty thing, while also trying to support and defend a country, fucking well renoun for doing so many shitty things. It's not rocket science, if you didn't care at all, you wouldn't be posting in this thread, so let's toss that lame excuse right out the window while we're at it. No defence, no skirting the board. They talked shit, they got hit, and it's going to happen here as well. As for myself (because devil's advocates like to pull the shit-tier "what have you done to boycott, nyeh, gotcha!" as a means of diffusing the opposing side) I've cancelled my WoW sub, uninstalled D3, Overwatch, Heroes etc. Now I've chosen not to delete my account, because I've actually paid for my shit, but I'm also not going to let some shit-tier asshat tell me what I have to do, in order to fulfil their unwritten rule of how to boycott (also, if that's used as a response to me, you're admitting to being a troll). |

And lord knows out of anyone, I definitely welcome a diversity of opinions, and certainly think a healthy, thriving society should almost NEVER be total lockstep with ideals/beliefs. Even controversial views should be welcomed if they're backed up with enough logic and a strong enough argument.
But christ you'd think this is one of the few instances where the moral stance and the "side" you take is pretty cut and dry, at least if you're part of a free society!
It does amaze me how seemingly no matter what your stance, no matter how logical and good-willed, there's always some out there in internet land who will somehow find objections with it. If this thread aint the ultimate proof.. XD
