I wasn't expecting this much idiocy from a few, who either worship a company or just want to play a retarded devil's advocate, but hey, we're here, on VGC, where some people like to think they're right about everything, and rebuke literally anything thrown at them 24/7.
I've been watching the drama from afar, and yeah, it's a dick move from Blizz, China's also tossing it's weight around, like a loan shark collecting some imaginary overdue debt.
Seeing people that try to defend a country, that literally beats the shit out of their own people to death and even during protests, I've just got this to say:
Stop willingly throwing out mental gymnastics to support the brutality and the asinine, poorly thought out, disgusting, putrid logic, that stems from the depths of insanity. And yes, it's retarded logic, because I know so damn fucking well, that these same people, who think it's fine and dandy to do and support this, wouldn't if they were the ones getting lined up to get shot, or beaten to death, merely for trying to protest and earn some freedom and rights. You know, not being fucking owned by the gov.
One company did a really shitty thing, is trying to get away with said shitty thing, while also trying to support and defend a country, fucking well renoun for doing so many shitty things. It's not rocket science, if you didn't care at all, you wouldn't be posting in this thread, so let's toss that lame excuse right out the window while we're at it.
No defence, no skirting the board. They talked shit, they got hit, and it's going to happen here as well.
As for myself (because devil's advocates like to pull the shit-tier "what have you done to boycott, nyeh, gotcha!" as a means of diffusing the opposing side) I've cancelled my WoW sub, uninstalled D3, Overwatch, Heroes etc. Now I've chosen not to delete my account, because I've actually paid for my shit, but I'm also not going to let some shit-tier asshat tell me what I have to do, in order to fulfil their unwritten rule of how to boycott (also, if that's used as a response to me, you're admitting to being a troll).
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
