Those offensive numbers are more then good enough since they currently also have the number one pass defense and third best rush defense and number one defense overall. |
Worth noting that they've spent the last couple years trying to make their offense balanced and versatile for the playoffs (see:playoff stats from last postseason), meanwhile they spent most of the second half against the Giants running an empty backfield with 2 undrafted rookie WRs; a 7th round sophmore TE; and Edelman to throw to. And their O-line (also riddled by injury) has made every defense they play look like the Steel Curtain.
Doesn't take a genius to figure this won't be the offense we see in December. (Edit: this should also take into account that Brady might not survive to December at this rate.)
