With that said, they just need someone like Jack Tretton again. A calm and down to earth exec who doesn't seem as full of himself as Shawn Layden and Phill Spencer seem to be imo.

I looked back and discovered that the quote about wanting to implement more microtransactions in 1st party games was in fact John Kodera and not Jim Ryan, as I wrongfully remembered (link). Sorry to Jim. Maybe he's ok then.

Edited: Nah, Jim Ryan has his share of tone deaf quotes as well (link).

Bottom line: I'm not the biggest fan of John Kodera and Jim Ryan.
