MODS/EMULATORS

Drakengard 3 can run with 60fps only on the PC thanks to the Playstation 3 emulator, RPCS3
https://www.dsogaming.com/videotrailer-news/drakengard-3-can-run-with-60fps-only-on-the-pc-thanks-to-the-playstation-3-emulator-rpcs3/
The RPCS3 team has announced that its Playstation 3 emulator, RPCS3, can now run Drakengard 3 with 60fps. As such, PC gamers can enjoy the game with a higher framerate and better visuals. This is why emulators are so important and this is why we are supporting them.
RPCS3 can run Drakengard 3 with 60fps thanks to a performance patch from Whatcookie. Moreover, it’s also possible to play the game at 120fps. However, this high framerate will break the lock-on feature when flying the dragon minor. Not only that, but it’s really difficult to hit 120fps in the current version of RPCS3 (without more optimizations or faster hardware).

You can now play The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening on the PC with 60fps
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/you-can-now-play-the-legend-of-zelda-links-awakening-on-the-pc-with-60fps/
A few days ago, we informed you about the Nintendo Switch emulator, yuzu, finally running Super Mario Odyssey with 60fps. And today we are happy to report about another Nintendo Switch exclusive that runs with 60fps on the PC. Yeap, as the title suggests, PC gamers can now enjoy The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening on the PC with 60fps.
(...)
Do note that there are still some visual artifacts in The Legend of Zelda Link’s Awakening. So while the game is fully playable and enjoyable, it’s not perfectly emulated yet. My guess is that the yuzu team will fix these glitches in the next couple of releases.

You can now play Metal Gear Solid 5 as Snake from Escape From New York
https://www.pcgamer.com/you-can-now-play-metal-gear-solid-5-as-snake-from-escape-from-new-york/
It's a truth universally acknowledged that Kurt Russell's performance as Snake Plissken in Escape From New York is one of the greatest things to ever happen on film. It was great enough, that it inspired Hideo Kojima not only to name the (main) protagonist of the Metal Gear Solid series after him, but also to fairly closely mirror his appearance.
But it's also true that the Snakes, whether Solid, Venom or Naked, aren't actually Snake Plissken. That's a cross we've had to bear until now, with the arrival of a mod for Metal Gear Solid 5 that lets you play as Kurt Russell's Plissken. As a bonus, Jack Burton from Big Trouble in Little China – another classic Russell / Carpenter collaboration – is also playable with the same mod.
It's the benevolent work of modder JinMarr, and it's available now on NexusMods, where you'll also find instructions on how to install it. And install it you must, at least until someone mods in Roddy Piper's John Nada from They Live. Then the cycle will be complete.

GAMING NEWS

Activision has released the official launch gameplay trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. To be honest, though, this should had been called an in-engine trailer as it mainly showcases cut-scenes from the game, and not actual gameplay footage.

ESRB’s response on Lootboxes and Simulated Gambling
https://www.dsogaming.com/videotrailer-news/esrbs-response-on-lootboxes-and-simulated-gambling/
Just a few days ago, we wrote an article regarding ESRB. Most of the information is available on their website, but I do not think many people actually know the process of giving ratings. Angry Joe contacted ESRB by email and expressed his concerns. ESRB did respond and answered all of his questions. It is almost impossible to know for sure, how open and honest ESRB’s answers actually are, but kudos to them for at least answering.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – new details about the main baddies
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/star-wars-jedi-fallen-order-new-details-about-the-main-baddies/
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will be released next month, almost a month prior to the movie Rise of Skywalker. Fall and rise, get it? I am a huge Star Wars fan, but lately both movies and games were disappointing in my opinion. Therefore, I really hope that Fallen Order will offer a good single player experience.

Official PC system requirements released for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, recommends 32GB of RAM
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/official-pc-system-requirements-released-for-star-wars-jedi-fallen-order-recommends-32gb-of-ram/
Electronic Arts and Respawn have revealed the official PC system requirements for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need an AMD FX-6100 or an Intel i3-3220 with 8GB of RAM. EA also lists the Radeon HD 7750 and the GeForce GTX 650 for the game’s minimum requirements.
However, we were really surprised by the game’s recommended RAM requirements. Electronic Arts and Respawn recommend 32GB of RAM, something that really caught us off guard. To be honest, though, this is most likely a typo. 32GB is an exaggeration for current-gen games… unless you have multiple browsers open and you’re streaming (or recording a video of) the game.

Please excuse my bad English.
